Job Description

In an e-commerce company, a Finance Business Partner (FBP) plays a pivotal role in driving growth and profitability by providing financial insights tailored to the fast-paced digital environment. They analyze several parameters such as sales trends and operational costs and their deviations versus plans to guide strategic decisions. FBPs collaborate with teams across commercial, operations, logistics, HR, and marketing to optimize budgets, streamline supply chain costs, and enhance pricing strategies. They also monitor key metrics like gross margins, inventory turnover, and cash flow, ensuring scalability and efficiency in a competitive market. By leveraging data and aligning financial goals with business strategies, they help the company achieve sustainable growth.

Roles and Responsibility:

Strategic Financial Support:

  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Partnership with various business units to align financial objectives with operational goals.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, providing actionable recommendations.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial and operational performance.
  • Present financial performance reports and dashboards to stakeholders.

Cost Management & Efficiency:

  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate cost-saving initiatives.

Risk Management:

  • Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and internal controls.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Action as a trusted advisor to non-finance teams, translating financial data into actionable insights.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization to drive collaboration and shared accountability.

Investment Analysis:

  • Evaluate the financial viability of new projects, investments, and business cases.
  • Provide recommendations on resource allocation and capital expenditure.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Leveraging financial data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Implement and utilize financial systems and tools to enhance data analysis capabilities.

Change Management & Leadership:

  • Support organizational changes by providing financial insights and guidance.
  • Mentor and coach teams to enhance financial literacy across the organization.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Driven process improvement initiatives within finance and related departments.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Well knowledge of finance.
  • Well knowledge of Excel.

  • Ability to work under stress and ambiguity.
