Job Description
A finance inventory specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial aspects of inventory control within an organization. This role involves ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of inventory, aligning financial records with physical stock, and supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Control purchase documents with the supplier’s invoice.
- Monthly reconciliation with the suppliers.
- Quarterly providing and finalizing the seasonal purchasing reports and VAT to the tax office.
- Monthly/quarterly/yearly closing process and balance checking.
- Providing reports related to inventory accounting.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, or Accounting.
- At least 5 years of related experience (preferably in inventory).
- Good knowledge of accounting and financial software (Rahkaran in particular).
- Good knowledge of accounting standards.
- Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using advanced formulas).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective teamwork skills.
- Flexibility.
