Job Description
We seek a financial director to manage our group’s financial departments. The ideal candidate must have solid leadership skills and a track record of successfully implementing financial strategies, preferably in an FMCG/distribution company.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Manage the group's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting.
- Provide and interpret financial information.
- Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
- Provide internal and external auditing services for businesses or individuals.
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
- Deal with banks for banking facilities.
- Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends.
- Manage financial risks.
- Report to the group board.
