Manage Treasury, General Accounting, Fixed assets, Accounts Receivable & payable sections. This position reports to CFO.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the general accounting function, including the management and supervision of a team of accounting professionals.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, including the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close
Develop and maintain financial record keeping and reporting systems
Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable
Preparing and reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
Maintaining the general ledger system
Review monthly prepaid and fixed asset roll forwards and related schedules
Review and monitor accounts payable sub ledger details and aging
Review bank reconciliations and corporate credit card reconciliations
Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
Lead ad hoc projects and work as part of a cross-functional team
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and streamline processes.
Conduct regular financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial targets.
Manage the annual external audit process, provide necessary documentation, and address any audit findings or recommendations.
Stay current with accounting regulations and changes in accounting standards; assess the impact on the company's financial reporting and implement necessary updates.
Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performance culture.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the general accounting function.
Requirements
+10 years of experience in accounting with at least 5 years in managerial positions; at least 3 years of experience in the general ledger function; working experience in the ood industry is an advantage.
BSc degree in accounting.
Expert in Rahkaran system.
Familiar with Varanegar sales and distribution system.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Knowledge of tax regulations and experience working with external tax advisors is a plus.
