Job Description

We are looking for a “Group Tax and SSO Specialist” to join Snapp Group Company:

A career in our Group Tax Department practice will provide you with the opportunity to help our ventures (sub-companies) solve their business issues related to the adoption of new tax laws, and communicating tax developments. For this, you will help our ventures (sub-companies) in calculating tax and SSO risks accurately which will enable them to update their monthly tax and SSO provisions based on new regulations, as well as past assessment experiences in various scenarios, allowing for a more accurate forecast of their year-end tax liabilities. Ultimately, this process will help us estimate the cash outflows related to taxes and SSO at the end of the year. Our team helps ventures transform risk and compliance related to taxes into a business advantage by aligning it with business strategy. you will be involved in all aspects of tax/SSO-related issues in our ventures.

Role Description:

  • Preparing analytical and comparative reports on tax and SSO provisions.
  • Controlling of tax provisions calculated monthly by ventures.
  • Communication with ventures and having update meetings to review and analyze revenue and expense codes.
  • Aligning cash outflow reports with final tax assessments.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of tax analysis.
  • Support Group entities in the preparation of Tax/SSO petitions and related documents.
  • Assisting in conducting Internal Tax/SSO Audit and preparing reports of findings with recommendations for each Group sub-companies.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in finance/accounting
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience in audit (external and internal) is an asset.
  • familiarity with taxes and SSO laws and also Iranian accounting standards and IFRS.
  • Adequate technical, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while performing calculations and preparing reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and high ethical standards; able to work well in a team environment and is seen as a good team player.
  • Proficiency in English at an intermediate level.
