Effectively install, configure, operate, and maintain Huawei routers and switches, Mikrotik routers, Asterisk VoIP servers, HP servers, NAS equipment, virtualization, Microsoft and Linux systems software, and related infrastructure.
Effectively install, configure, operate, and firewalls, UTM’s, IPS, IDS, and edge security equipment like Mikrotik Sophos, etc.
Maintain and improve the security posture.
Automate managing users, groups, password policies, and other user configurations.
Automate the identification, categorization, sensitivity, and ownership of Network and software assets.
Perform continuous health monitoring, improve the stability/performance of the Systems, and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
Perform backup, restore, rollback, and disaster recovery operations in Infrastructure environments.
Communicate with other teams for mitigation of any issues with managed environments.
Create, update, and organize technical documentation and knowledge bases for the team and other departments.
Apply patches, security fixes, and firmware updates to equipment and operating systems.
Effectively use monitoring or administrative tools to maintain network uptime and efficiency, including PRTG.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or information technology.
At least 3 years of experience in IT Microsoft Service and Infrastructure.
Deep experience in network and datacenter.
Hands-on experience in managing, provisioning, configuring, and monitoring servers, databases, email servers, hosts, and Skype for business.
Deep knowledge of VMware virtualization and SAN Storage.
Ability to use initiative, prioritize tasks, and work independently and/or within a team.
Strong technical documentation and report-writing ability.
Good understanding and knowledge of cybersecurity.
