Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT support specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up a working station and managing and troubleshooting the technology systems that a business uses to maintain computer and software networks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Follow health & safety, food defense, and environmental rules regarding IT activities to ensure people and the planet are considered as the first priority.
- Monitor networks and services at Bel RZN company sites to ensure continuous connectivity.
- Install and debug software and hardware to maintain operational IT systems.
- Update IT local documents based on Bel standards to assist in managing IT inventories.
- Track cybersecurity breaches to protect Bel RZN’s IT systems and data from cyber threats.
- Maintain documentation for IT processes, systems, and security measures to ensure compliance with Bel and local standards.
- Troubleshoot problems, answer user queries and provide training on IT systems to support Bel RZN staff with hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist the IT team with new projects and implement IT infrastructure to support Bel RZN operations.
- Test applications and IT devices based on Bel standards to ensure systems are upgraded and new technologies are operational.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT security, and networks for FMCG businesses.
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Efficient and effective technical support skills, addressing hardware and software issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to IT infrastructure. Analyze problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions to restore services.
- Maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet systems.
- Maintain detailed records of IT assets, system configurations, and user requests.
- Good knowledge of IT systems, networks, and software applications.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and provide outstanding customer service.
- Agility and problem-solving skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong commitment to the company’s mission and values.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V) and cloud services (Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
