Job Description
At Jabama, we are looking for a legal expert who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling the company’s legal and contractual affairs in a fast-paced, startup environment. In this role, you will work closely with different teams to minimize legal risks and improve legal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal and commercial contracts, including agreements with suppliers, and business partners.
- Document and maintain contracts, licenses, and other legal records to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Update company information in relevant legal and regulatory platforms and manage routine tasks in legal systems.
- Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations related to the company’s operations and propose necessary adjustments.
- Provide legal advice to internal teams on contractual matters, consumer rights, and e-commerce regulations.
- Draft legal documents, official letters, and administrative correspondences to support legal and business operations.
- Handle administrative and executive tasks related to the legal department while collaborating with other teams to streamline legal procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in legal, contract, or corporate affairs.
- Familiarity with e-commerce laws, contract law, and consumer protection regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail in reviewing legal documents.
- Knowledge of legal platforms and databases to research and verify legal information.
- Experience working with legal and corporate registration systems or willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for drafting and managing legal documents.
- Teamwork skills, time management abilities, and a strong sense of responsibility.
