At Jabama, we are looking for a legal expert who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling the company’s legal and contractual affairs in a fast-paced, startup environment. In this role, you will work closely with different teams to minimize legal risks and improve legal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate legal and commercial contracts, including agreements with suppliers, and business partners.
Document and maintain contracts, licenses, and other legal records to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
Update company information in relevant legal and regulatory platforms and manage routine tasks in legal systems.
Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations related to the company’s operations and propose necessary adjustments.
Provide legal advice to internal teams on contractual matters, consumer rights, and e-commerce regulations.
Draft legal documents, official letters, and administrative correspondences to support legal and business operations.
Handle administrative and executive tasks related to the legal department while collaborating with other teams to streamline legal procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Law.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in legal, contract, or corporate affairs.
Familiarity with e-commerce laws, contract law, and consumer protection regulations.
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail in reviewing legal documents.
Knowledge of legal platforms and databases to research and verify legal information.
Experience working with legal and corporate registration systems or willingness to learn.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for drafting and managing legal documents.
Teamwork skills, time management abilities, and a strong sense of responsibility.
