Responsibilities:
- Review and draft legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and policies, to protect the company's interests.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to management and other departments on a wide range of legal issues
- Identify potential legal risks and develop proactive measures to mitigate them
- Manage and coordinate external legal counsel, including reviewing and approving their work
- Coordinate and monitor litigation matters, working closely with external counsel when necessary
Requirements:
- PhD degree in Law.
- Proven experience working as a legal manager in the Oil and Gas industry or a similar field.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound legal judgments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex legal matters to non-legal personnel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
