Job Description

The organizational development specialist is responsible for ensuring continuous organizational improvement and acting as a change agent for all staff and providers. They communicate about development concepts and processes, as well as promote organizational development by designing and implementing programs and materials that support company goals and initiatives.

Here are some of the activities you can expect to be involved in as an organizational development specialist:

  • Designing approaches to communications that provide an employee voice.
  • Designing job evaluation, grading structures, and equal pay.
  • Creating ways to measure and assess engagement (for example, surveys).
  • Reviewing management practices and their impact on the employee experience.
  • Creating proactive approaches to well-being in the organization to drive physical and mental well-being.
  • Reviewing and enhancing the employer brand.Building a culture of trust.
  • Assessing the impact that people's practices and policies have on the employee experience.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience working in human resources.
  • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Impactful presentation style.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver.
  • A positive, “can do” attitude.
