Prepare purchase orders based on the company’s required packaging quality and specifications.
Identify the potential suppliers, compare prices, and specifications, and obtain and review suppliers' offers, invoices, and contracts to determine the best bid among potential suppliers and transportation.
Plan for delivering the required packaging material according to production plan and manufacturing companies.
Contact and cooperate with local and international suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and other problems.
Monitor process to ensure that packaging material comes in on time as per agreed conditions and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
Liaise with organizations and authorities involved to get all the needed governmental and non-governmental approvals and licenses in the purchasing process.
Prepare payment documents for the financial department.
Prepare and handle all necessary documentation for shipping documents, customs affairs, commercial registration, and banking procedures.
Prepare, maintain, and update systematically (digitally and physically) the history and information of purchased goods, purchase costs, receipts and performance of purchased products.
Visit printing houses to ensure the quality of prints and packages are meeting company requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or any related field.
Between 2 to 4 years of experience in a related field.
Good command of computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
