Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Implement payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, and terminations.
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
Ensure compliance with local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
Identify and recommend updates to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Business Administration.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
Excellent organizational skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in the payroll process.
General accounting knowledge.
Familiarity with personal income tax and SSO rules and regulations.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in related fields from a well-known university.
Age range: 25 to 38 years old.
At least three to five years of related experience.
