Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced procurement manager to join our team in the oil and Gas industry. As a procurement manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire procurement process, from identifying needs and sourcing to contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs, develop specifications, and manage supplier selection processes.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and initiate improvements to drive operational excellence.
  • Conduct periodic market analysis and supplier evaluations to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and new technology developments to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement management, ideally within the oil and Gas industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement best practices.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
