Job Description

The category supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain, merchandising, and strategic development of our automotive category. This role requires a proactive individual who can build and maintain a powerful network within the industry, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of market trends and customer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:

• Identify and establish relationships with key suppliers in the Automotive.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to optimize supply chain efficiency and profitability.

Category Development:

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Develop and implement category strategies to enhance product assortment and positioning.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
• Analyze sales data to forecast demand and reduce excess inventory.

Network Building:

• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand professional network.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to explore partnership opportunities.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience working with suppliers.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships within the industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
