Job Description

A shipping line's sales and marketing expert is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance brand visibility. This role combines sales, customer relationship management, and marketing activities to attract new clients and retain existing customers.

Roles:

  • Identify potential customers and new business opportunities by researching market trends, shipping demands, and industry developments.
  • Generate leads, make cold calls, and arrange meetings with prospective clients to build a pipeline of new business.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within shipping.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong understanding of shipping line services.
