The sales department at Novo Nordisk Iran is responsible for running the sales activities of the organization, including promoting and selling our products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and other public institutions. Our activities include developing and implementing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and providing operational support to sales management. We are a dynamic and collaborative team, committed to driving success and making a difference in the lives of patients.

The position:

As sales operations manager, you will provide the means and information to facilitate decision making, drive business performance as well as internal processes.
In this role you are expected to:

  • Ensure compliance with company quality systems and procedures, promoting and implementing the Novo Nordisk Way.
  • Implement affiliate objectives and ad-hoc projects to support sales operational tactical plans. Deliver day-to-day short-term objectives, focusing on key business priorities
  • Generate understanding and commitment regarding business strategies, and sales priorities, conduct analysis in various areas, and drive specific judicious projects.
  • Ensure understanding of the functional and whole business plan and business purpose, and identify activities within the functional area to enable integration of all business activities
  • Analyse areas such as Sales, Sales Effectiveness, Spending Effectiveness, and external stakeholder relations.
  • Review business plans and launch plans, prepare documents and presentations for meetings, perform ad-hoc analysis, and drive specific strategic projects
  • Provide engagement plans for the sales department and support sales managers in the development of leadership skills through coaching sessions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for the generation and implementation of business strategies

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with an MBA degree will be an added advantage.
  • 5 years of people management experience in sales within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Relevant experience in marketing, market research, forecasting, sales analysis, finance, and reporting.
  • Strong project management proficiency and good pharmaceutical industry knowledge.
  • Experience in managing managers and leading or coaching people and teams.
  • Proficiency in English.
