Job Description

Nikoo International School is seeking a dedicated and experienced science teacher specializing in physics, chemistry, biology, and general science to join our dynamic faculty. Teachers will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students across various grade levels (primary, middle, and high school) while following international curriculum standards. The ideal candidates will inspire curiosity, promote critical thinking, and encourage scientific exploration in the classroom and beyond.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver well-structured lessons in your science specialization tailored to different learning needs and levels.
• Create and implement assessments to monitor and evaluate student progress and understanding.
• Facilitate hands-on laboratory experiments while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• Foster an environment that encourages scientific inquiry, creativity, and collaborative learning.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain clear communication with parents and school leadership.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school-wide events.
• Organize and support extracurricular activities such as science fairs, workshops, and field trips.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievements, attendance, and lesson plans.
• Stay updated with advancements in science education and implement best teaching practices.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science field (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or General Science) or Education (a Master’s degree is preferred).

Experience:

• At least 2 years of teaching experience in the respective science branch (experience in international schools is a plus).

Certifications:

• Valid teaching certification or equivalent educational qualification.
• CELTA, TESOL, or similar certifications (preferred for English-medium instruction).

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of subject content and effective teaching methodologies.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning platforms.
