Job Description
We are looking for a skilled scrum master to guide agile teams, facilitate collaboration, and ensure smooth project execution. Strong expertise in agile frameworks and a focus on continuous improvement are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Coach the team to improve collaboration and self-organization.
- Coach team on Agile practices and encourage adaptation and iteration and an environment that fosters Agile.
- Collaborate across teams in IT and the business as required to remove impediments and deliver on time for all Sprints.
- Coach team members to properly define User Stories while assisting the Product Owner to continually keep a sufficient set of stories defined and estimated.
- Highlight team success within and outside the team.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and release planning meetings for 2-3 product teams.
- Track and communicate team commitments, velocity, and sprint/release progress.
- Remove or escalate team impediments that jeopardize sprint goals.
- Identify, suggest, and collaborate with the development and product owner on measurable improvements for the team(s).
- Coach, train, and support other scrum masters within the organization.
Requirements:
- Experience in an Agile environment is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience as a scrum master.
- Experience as part of an agile team.
- Ability to establish a data-driven culture and a repeatable, structured, and disciplined approach to the agile process.
- Ability to manage the dependencies between team capacity, prioritization, budget, software quality, and committed deadlines.
- Strong knowledge and certification in Agile methodology and framework.
