Position Overview:
We seek a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Market Research Specialist to lead our market and marketing research initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, experience in designing and executing research projects, and the ability to derive actionable insights to inform business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions using various methods such as surveys, interviews, and statistical analysis tools.
- Develop research methodologies to determine appropriate sample sizes and identify target audiences for surveys or focus groups.
- Creatively design and analyze customer journeys to identify and understand target audiences for research initiatives.
- Design comprehensive surveys and questionnaires to gather relevant data aligned with business objectives.
- Compile and interpret research findings into actionable items, reports, and presentations for clients or internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to align research objectives and support strategic decision-making.
- Stay informed on market trends, and competitor activities, and implement best practices in market research.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in market research analysis, with a focus on data analysis and project management.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS), databases, and MS Office Suite. Familiarity with CRM programs and data visualization tools is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data, identify trends, and formulate actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with online market research tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of data collection methods such as polls, focus groups, and surveys.
- Understanding of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
