Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for construction, engineering, and PMO services.
- Lead supplier prequalification, RFQ/RFP processes, and vendor selection for construction materials, contractors, and project management consultants.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with quality standards, project timelines, and budget constraints.
- Negotiate contracts to secure optimal terms, pricing, and performance guarantees.
- Oversee procurement for key categories such as civil works, MEP services, consultancy, and construction equipment rental.
- Conduct regular vendor performance assessments and analyze market trends to drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with project teams, construction managers, and PMO to align procurement activities with project schedules and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and internal procurement policies.
- Mitigate risks by actively monitoring supplier performance and contract adherence.
- Provide regular reports on procurement progress, budgets, and risk assessments to project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on construction, engineering, or PMO services.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, EPC, etc.), vendor negotiations, and project management workflows.
- Proven expertise in procurement strategies for large-scale construction projects.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, project management tools, and procurement software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to strategically plan, assess risks, and solve complex procurement challenges under tight deadlines.
