Job Description

  • To collaborate with internal stakeholders and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and operational requirements.
  • To evaluate and select suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and ability to meet project timelines.
  • To control contracts and agreements with suppliers for network and facility services, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • To manage delivery schedules and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for network and facility operations.
  • To analyze performance metrics related to supplier reliability, cost management, and service delivery, preparing detailed reports for management.
  • To collaborate with L&R, procurement planning, and performance departments to track procurement department-related contracts and ensure improvement areas in processes/procedures have been addressed.
  • To ensure that requests from divisions are met concerning product quality, quantity, price, and time.
  • To comply with all relevant PPPs (including but not limited to procurement policy, tender policy, and procurement code of conduct) during procurement requests.
  • To search for possible suppliers of the company’s requirements and evaluate them based on the company PPPs
  • To engage with the company suppliers and negotiate various items with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
  • To coordinate the life cycle of purchases and contracts, including:
  1. Handling RFx processes;
  2. Evaluating commercial proposals;
  3. Preparing RFx evaluation and recommendations report;
  4. Pre-approving PRs and ensuring timely issuance of POs;
  5. Ensuring timely execution of contracts;
  6. Administration of contracts, obtaining signatures, updating contracts registered, etc;
  • To act as an interface with user divisions and other stakeholders to understand their requirements/demands.
  • To prepare periodic or ad hoc reports, status reports on tenders, PR/PO reports, etc.
  • To act as a team member to support the cost savings and cost-avoidance assigned targets.
  • To establish beneficial commercial terms and conditions at the best value and total cost of ownership with the consultation of the line manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
  • At least 6 years of experience in an area of specialization; experience working in a medium organization.
  • Experience in telecom or technology supply chain categories is highly preferred.
