The Objective of the Role:

As a statistical analyst, you will be presenting your findings to the project manager, providing advice on stock market trends, and suggesting suitable algorithms. To be successful as a statistical analyst, you should have excellent mathematical skills, experience with data analytics, and the ability to spot data trends. Ultimately, a top-rated statistical analyst can extract accurate and meaningful data that can be used to make important business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Extracting and organizing raw data.
• Developing and implementing strategies.
• Analyzing and interpreting data using statistical modeling software.
• Creating spreadsheets and data analysis reports.
• Presenting reports to the managers and programming team.
• Assisting with the interpretation and use of extracted data.

Requirements:

• PhD or a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience as a statistical analyst.
• Experience in stock market analysis and a strong interest or experience in algorithmic trading is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of statistical data modeling software.
• Ability to spot data trends.
• Knowledge of data mining and scrubbing.
• Advanced mathematical skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
