As a part of a futuristic expansion program, Kharazmi pharmaceutical Company has made a strategic decision to invest in building a modern dedicated production facility for manufacture of Biotechnology and oncology related products, named Faravadehaye Zisti va Zede Saratn Kharazmi Company (Bio Onco Kharazmi Co.). As the first step of this project, manufacturing of the Oral Solid dosage form of anti-cancer products were considered. This facility was built in a state of the art format encompassing the latest FDA and EU GMP guidelines and is ready for operation. Phase two is earmarked for expansion into sterile dosage form of anti-cancer products as well as biotechnology, with research and development capabilities, for production of monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins which also could be used in treatment of cancer patients.
