Golgohar iron ore complex is located in a 50-kilometer distance from southwest Sirjan. This complex consists of 6 separate iron deposits. Deposit number 5 is one of the 6 deposits of this area which is located about 1.5 km distance from northwest Golgohar mine number one. To explore Golgohar anomalies, a Harvest network of 100*40 meters in an area of 74 km2 was covered by Geophysical exploratory operations And Golgohar Anomaly No. 5 was introduced. During primary exploration and by drilling 17 exploratory boreholes, totally 6018 meters of vertical sections and Horizontal maps of minerals is Prepared To map the 3D model of the ore deposit and Geological reserve of 24.4 million tons with average Fe grade of 50 percent is estimated. And in new phase exploratory operations, increased by Mahan Sirjan mines and industrial development company by drilling 39 Exploratory boreholes of 8136 meters and completion of mine number 5 exploration to about 35.9 million tons with average Fe grade of 50.68 percent. This mine with 1,340,000,000,000 IRR investment and 600 persons directly job creation, is one of the economic capacity maker projects of company in area.
