Mehraein Paper Mill began its operations in 2019 on a 10-hectare plot of land at the site of the former Kahrizak Paper Mill (Iran’s first paper mill). This complex has taken a big step in meeting the country’s need for packaging paper by renovating the PM1 production line in 2020 and constructing a new production line with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons of packaging paper in 2024. We are proud that by utilizing innovative designs, creative ideas, the relentless efforts of our colleagues, and the use of advanced global technologies, we have once again set the wheels of the historical heritage of the paper industry in motion. Our slogan “The Seal of Nature is Our Religion” is not just a sentence, but reflects our identity and is rooted in our deep belief in protecting nature. Every ton of recycled paper produced in this factory is equivalent to saving 9 trees from being cut down. This is just part of our mission to build a greener world. In addition, by equipping the factory with an advanced wastewater treatment system, we have implemented our environmental policies in the best possible way to conserve maximum water in the production cycle and reduce the extraction of groundwater resources. We believe that we should treat the earth and nature with kindness, because the earth and nature have always generously supported humans.
