Modava was founded in 1962 and now is one of the Iranian leader companies in the field of medical and pharmaceutical products is. Modava was transferred to its new production site in 2007. Shafayab purchased 75% of shares of Modava in 2010. The total employees of Modava is around 100. The site is ISO certifies and is audited by Iranian MOH and Novartis Company. Modava has currently an agreement with Novartis for local production of their products starting from secondary packaging and moving to production on API basis. Modava with Novartis and its foreseen agreement with other companies is currently under extensive improvement of its GMP, and modernization of its facilities.
