Roles & Responsibilities
•To develop and execute agile sourcing strategies for various categories of spend, aligning with organizational objectives and values.
•To identify and select strategic suppliers through market research, competitive analysis, and RFx processes.
•To negotiate contracts and agreements with the strategic suppliers to achieve cost savings, optimize quality, and ensure timely delivery.
•To monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues and fostering continuous improvement.
•To build and maintain strong relationships with the strategic suppliers, promoting collaboration and innovation.
•To conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in agile sourcing.
•To collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and business units, to understand requirements and align procurement strategies.
•To lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
•To analyze spend data and develop actionable insights to drive cost savings and process efficiencies.
•To implement and maintain agile sourcing tools, processes, and methodologies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sourcing processes.
•To oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, and delivery.
•To monitor transportation, customs clearance, and delivery to ensure timely and efficient execution.
•To ensure compliance with relevant import/export regulations and Incoterms.
Job Requirements
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related, MBA / Masters Advantageous
Experience
•Manager track record of 5 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/ industry
•Worked across diverse cultures and geographies advantageous
