Job Overview:


Aftab Seeds is looking for highly knowledgeable and motivated Agronomists to join the team. As an Agronomist, you will play a key role in conducting trials, research, and field evaluations to enhance seed performance and support product innovation. This position requires a solid background in agricultural science, along with a strong passion for advancing agronomic practices and driving sustainable agricultural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage field trials to evaluate seed performance, including growth, yield, and disease resistance.
• Analyze trial data and provide recommendations for product improvements and development.
• Collaborate with the technical and research teams to develop and refine agronomic practices and seed varieties.
• Monitor and assess soil health, plant nutrition, and pest management strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on trial results and research findings.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in agronomy.
• Provide technical support and advice to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Report to the technical manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Science (Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Protection) or a related field.
• Relevant experience in conducting agricultural trials or research is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Knowledge of agronomic practices, soil science, and plant pathology.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English and familiarity with relevant software and tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a willingness, readiness, and ability to travel as required.
