Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and skilled assistant brand manager to support the execution of marketing activities and brand strategies. This role involves close coordination with internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful implementation of marketing plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Fieldwork & Marketing Execution:

  • Conduct 4 days of fieldwork each week to track the implementation of all marketing activities and tactics within strategic plans.
  • Assist in the execution and coordination of planned marketing activities, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Work with field representatives to enroll marketing projects and validate execution at pharmacies and doctor offices.

Brand Management & Strategic Planning:

  • Help write brand plans, strategic plans, and product budgets for presentations to the marketing manager.
  • Assist in defining pricing, packaging, trade merchandising, advertising, and promotional strategies for each brand and allocate the budget accordingly.
  • Monitor market share, analyze competitors, and track sales volumes to inform strategic decisions and adjust marketing plans as needed.

Event Coordination & Participation:

  • Participate in congresses and scientific conferences for each product in coordination with the CEOs.
  • Attend meetings of associations and scientific programs, assisting in the coordination of events and conferences.
  • Help produce promotional materials in coordination with the sales manager, medical manager, and marketing team.

Vendor Management & Procurement:

  • Identify and negotiate with new vendors, securing the best quotes and terms to maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Purchase and prepare materials required for activities such as cycle meetings, congresses, and CMEs.

Project Management & Reporting:

  • Supervise and control deadlines for marketing projects, ensuring all activities are on track.
  • Prepare monthly marketing reports, including expense reports, performance evaluations, and PPT presentations.
  • Maintain a record of marketing activities and compare them with actual performance to ensure alignment with goals.

Promotional & Business Development Initiatives:

  • Assist in the development and execution of promotional initiatives to increase product consumption within budget parameters.
  • Work with other business unit team members to identify and develop business-building ideas and ensure plans meet investment criteria.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product development, production, sales) and external resources (advertising, market research, consultants) to achieve desired results.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Support the Brand Manager and Marketing Manager in the coordination of marketing initiatives and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Participate in brand management and cost reduction projects to ensure efficient resource allocation and execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Marketing, or an MBA graduate.
  • At least one year of experience working related to marketing activities or medical representative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Persian.
  • Excellent knowledge of ICDL.
  • Flexible, self-confident, teamwork spirit.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Able to meet multiple project deadlines and demonstrate good attention to detail.
  • Good time management and planning skills.
  • Web maintenance/e-marketing experience, with a good working knowledge of social media marketing tools, Google rankings, and search engine optimization is desirable. Able to demonstrate product awareness and an understanding of the needs of the customer.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A background in creating scientific marketing, promotional, or educational content would be an advantage.
