Job Description
We are looking for a NetBackup supervisor to join us. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NetBackup, and experience working in an enterprise and multi-site network. The candidate should also have good knowledge of enterprise storage, especially Unity Series and DataDomain and archive solutions. Additionally, having good knowledge of VMware vSphere and Veeam Backup is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the NetBackup central app
- Manage and maintain Storage Infrastructure
- Manage and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure
- Design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery plans
- Perform performance and capacity monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting
- Work with other teams to support business applications and services
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as a backup administrator.
- Strong Knowledge of NetBackup.
- Experience working in an enterprise network with multiple data centers.
- Experience with enterprise storage technologies (unity and data domain series).
- Experience with mid-level and enterprise tape libraries.
- Experience with VMware vSphere management tools such as vSphere Client.
- Experience working with HP servers, IP Networks, and Active Directory.
- Practical experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, VeeamOne, vRealize).
- Familiar with SAN switches, such as Cisco MDS and Brocade SilkWorm.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team
