Job Description
The incumbent is responsible for taking care of the quality, design/functionality of retail and wholesale TPOSM to protect and enhance JTI's share of voice. Combine creativity and functionality to create a brand that stands out in the trade environment. The role also involves monitoring and analyzing JTI Merchandizing KPIs (TPOS installation efficiency and effectiveness) to identify opportunities and issues and develop a plan to capture opportunities. Ensure optimal brand visibility - build a consistent story, tell it in the right place, and ensure effective execution. The incumbent should have strong project management skills to fulfill requests, manage suppliers, and ensure they follow up and are committed to the plan. Supervision the submitted budget in terms of tracking orders as well as payments which should be in close coordination with the PPO, finance, and warehouse teams.
Areas of Responsibility:
Temporary POSM Design and Production:
- Design POSMs based on key visuals.
- Align with the brand team on TPOSM types and design.
- Receive legal and C&A approvals.
- Brief agencies.
- Decide on the quantity of each TPOSM type (based on brand launch strategy and DSO request).
- Follow up on production and delivery deadlines / extra requests.
POSMs Types:
- Price tag, dangler, shelf strip, countertop, and poly shelf.
- Backlit and shelf talker.
- Introductory boxes.
- Uniforms.
- Employees’ branded gifts.
- Office branding.
Execution and Monitoring:
- Monitor TPOSM allocation to each DSO branch and registration in the Odoo system.
- Develop TPOSM installation guidelines.
- Train DSO on TPOSM guidelines and define KPIs.
- Monitor execution through market visits, panorama pictures, and audit agencies.
Reporting:
- Analyze JTI SOV impacted by key visuals.
- Report results to the marketing lead.
- Evolve relevant processes based on learnings.
Budget management and MEMO preparation:
- Initiate PR/PO and GRs.
- Track and manage budget to maximize gains and reduce costs.
- Accurate phasing with PO and GR management.
Supplier Management:
- Bring up-to-speed new suppliers.
- Communicate with suppliers to reflect the exact requirements of POSM.
- Monitor supplier performance vs. agreed plan and quality, and share feedback.
- Enhance/improve the capacity of the supplier.
Candidate Profile:
Education:
- An undergraduate degree (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields are a plus).
Work experience and competencies:
- Working in the international FMCG industry as a brand/marketing specialist for at least 2 years.
Languages and Computer Skills:
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
- Microsoft Office skills.
Functional Skills:
- Presentation skills, brand-related knowledge, communication and training skills, SAP, project management, and analytical skills.
