Key Responsibilities
*Develop and execute the CAPEX procurement strategy in alignment with the company's annual budget, business priorities, and expansion plans.
*Plan and manage the end-to-end procurement process for capital equipment, production *machinery, automation systems, and other capital assets, from requirement definition through delivery, installation, and commissioning.
*Identify, evaluate, develop, and manage domestic and international suppliers, focusing on technical capability, quality, cost competitiveness, production capacity, and supply continuity.
*Lead technical and commercial negotiations, manage tendering processes, and negotiate contracts to achieve the best value while mitigating commercial and operational risks.
*Conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis to optimize capital investments and lifecycle costs of equipment.
*Manage supply risks for critical capital equipment and spare parts by monitoring market trends, developing alternative sourcing strategies, and ensuring business continuity.
*Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Project Management, Finance, and Quality teams to ensure timely procurement in compliance with technical, safety, and operational requirements.
*Monitor supplier performance through defined KPIs, conduct performance review meetings, and drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
*Establish, implement, and continuously improve CAPEX procurement policies, procedures, and governance to ensure compliance, transparency, and operational excellence.
*Lead, coach, and develop the CAPEX procurement team through effective performance management, capability development, and succession planning.
Requirements
*Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
*Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or technical purchasing, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
*Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience managing procurement teams.
*Strong knowledge of CAPEX procurement processes, strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, tendering, and contract management.
*Solid technical understanding of industrial machinery, production equipment, automation systems, utilities, and critical spare parts.
*Proven ability to perform techno-commercial evaluations and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
*Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management skills.
*Familiarity with project procurement and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Project teams.
*Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP or Oracle) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in technical and commercial contexts.
