Accountant (Trading & Export)
Key Responsibilities
* Record and maintain all financial transactions and accounting documents.
* Process and control accounting entries related to purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and payroll.
* Perform bank, cash, and accounts reconciliation.
* Record, verify, and maintain export-related accounting documents.
* Support and follow up on export procedures and related financial processes.
* Prepare and review export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Proforma Invoices, and other required documents.
* Prepare and submit Value Added Tax (VAT) returns.
* Issue sales invoices through the Iranian Taxpayer System (Saman-e Modian) using the export algorithm and reconcile them with accounting records and VAT returns.
* Prepare and submit payroll and social security insurance reports.
* Monitor and reconcile domestic and international customer accounts.
* Organize, archive, and maintain financial records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting within a trading and export company.
* Strong knowledge of accounting practices for trading and export businesses.
* Solid understanding of tax regulations, social security requirements, VAT, and the Iranian Taxpayer System (Saman-e Modian).
* Familiarity with customs procedures and export operations.
* Good understanding of Iranian Accounting Standard No. 16 (Foreign Currency Translation).
* Proficiency in Sepidar Accounting Software.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
* High level of responsibility, planning, and organisational skills.
