Zolal Iran Company, a leading EPC contractor with over 40 years of experience in the oil, gas, petrochemical, water and wastewater industries, is seeking a highly accomplished Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its design and engineering subsidiary.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the company’s strategic vision and long-term goals in alignment with both short-term and long-term objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand service offerings and strengthen client relationships.
Project Management:
Oversee all EPC and engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Implement and maintain best practices in project management and ensure effective resource allocation.
Financial Oversight:
Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure profitability and sustainability through effective financial strategies.
QHSSE and Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) requirements.
Promote a culture of safety and risk management throughout all operations.
Client Relations:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, project managers, and support staff.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and innovative work environment.
Innovation and Sustainability:
Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements relevant to business.
Integrate sustainable practices into the company’s operations and project execution.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and mitigation strategies.
Ensure contingency plans are in place for all major projects.
Digital Transformation:
Drive digitalization initiatives in project controls, knowledge management, and reporting systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
An advanced degree (MBA or MSc in Engineering/Management) is strongly preferred; A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline is required.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in the oil, gas, petrochemical or water and wastewater industry, with significant experience in an EPC role.
Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record of successful project management.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of regulations and safety standards.
Deep understanding of EPC business models and contract frameworks (e.g., FIDIC, BOT).
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in high-pressure environments.
