Zolal Iran Company, a leading EPC contractor with over 40 years of experience in the oil, gas, petrochemical, water and wastewater industries, is seeking a highly accomplished Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its design and engineering subsidiary.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the company’s strategic vision and long-term goals in alignment with both short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand service offerings and strengthen client relationships.

Project Management:

  • Oversee all EPC and engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain best practices in project management and ensure effective resource allocation.

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure profitability and sustainability through effective financial strategies.

QHSSE and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety and risk management throughout all operations.

Client Relations:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, project managers, and support staff.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and innovative work environment.

Innovation and Sustainability:

  • Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements relevant to business.
  • Integrate sustainable practices into the company’s operations and project execution.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place for all major projects.

Digital Transformation:

  • Drive digitalization initiatives in project controls, knowledge management, and reporting systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • An advanced degree (MBA or MSc in Engineering/Management) is strongly preferred; A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline is required.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in the oil, gas, petrochemical or water and wastewater industry, with significant experience in an EPC role.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record of successful project management.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulations and safety standards.
  • Deep understanding of EPC business models and contract frameworks (e.g., FIDIC, BOT).
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in high-pressure environments.
