About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned, strategic, and highly analytical Legal Executive to lead our Legal Department. As the VP of Legal, you will serve as the company’s chief legal advisor, playing a critical role in safeguarding our interests, mitigating risks, and supporting our growth objectives within the highly regulated pharmaceutical landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Direct the legal department, providing expert counsel to senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure business objectives are aligned with legal strategies.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (including FDA/EMA/local health authority guidelines and GMP standards).
Risk Management: Develop and implement proactive legal strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and operational risks.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Manage complex litigation and lead dispute resolution efforts to minimize legal exposure and protect the company’s assets.
Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and review of high-stakes commercial agreements, licensing deals, and IP-related contracts.
External Counsel Oversight: Manage relationships with external law firms and regulatory bodies to ensure high-quality legal support and representation.
Qualifications:
Education: Master of Laws (LL.M.) or equivalent degree; a valid Bar Admission/License to practice law is mandatory.
Experience: Extensive proven experience in a senior legal counsel or attorney role, with a strong preference for candidates with a track record in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
Expertise: Deep understanding of corporate law, intellectual property (IP), commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance within the pharmaceutical sector.

Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable business advice.
Superior negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in English is essential. Fluency in Persian is highly desirable.
