The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for designing, overseeing, and implementing the organization’s IT strategies and technical infrastructure. This key role focuses on optimizing the use of innovative technologies, fostering technological innovations, and ensuring information security. The CTO must collaborate with other departments to identify technical needs and provide effective and efficient solutions. Additionally, the CTO is responsible for leading and managing technical teams, overseeing the implementation of technology projects, and continuously improving IT systems.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organization’s long-term goals and business needs.
Lead technical teams and monitor their performance to achieve technology objectives.
Evaluate and select advanced technologies to improve system efficiency and enhance innovative capabilities.
Manage and monitor cybersecurity, and data protection, and ensure best security practices across all systems.
Collaborate with senior management to identify and implement technological solutions that align with the organization’s needs.
Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including databases, cloud systems, and processing services.
Monitor project progress, evaluate achievements, and foresee potential challenges in technical processes.
Identify and implement continuous improvement processes to enhance the performance and efficiency of IT systems.
Provide regular reports to the board of directors and stakeholders about the status of technology projects, achievements, and challenges.
Requirements:
At least a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in IT management and leading technical teams in large organizations.
Proficiency in programming languages and advanced technologies in software, hardware, and infrastructure.
Experience in managing IT projects using modern tools such as Jira and Trello.
Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and the ability to select and implement cloud solutions.
Ability to design and manage scalable databases and analyze data using advanced tools.
Strategic communication and negotiation skills with senior management, particularly in technology and innovation.
Expertise in cybersecurity principles, data protection, and information system protocols.
Ability to solve complex technical issues using creative and efficient approaches.
Strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams, and enhance the efficiency of technical teams.
