Commercial Specialist - Petrochemical Industry

Role Overview:

As a commercial specialist within our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial excellence and strategic growth initiatives within the dynamic and evolving petrochemical sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

  • Lead negotiations for contracts, agreements, and commercial terms with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met, and agreements are aligned with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Manage contract renewals, amendments, and disputes effectively to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Utilize market insights to identify growth opportunities, forecast sales trends, and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on market conditions, sales performance, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to align commercial strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in commercial roles within the petrochemical industry or related sectors.
