Job Description

A Datacenter supervisor is responsible for maintaining and optimizing enterprise services, platforms, and storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security in alignment with industry best practices.

Key Accountabilities:

Maintain and optimize Windows and Linux servers, virtualization clusters, and storage and fabric infrastructure.
Prepare and deliver unfractured servers according to performance and security best practices.
Support lifecycle management of infrastructure components, including upgrades, decommissioning, and capacity expansion planning.
Administer backup services and conduct recovery testing Operations under Defined and validated RTO/RPO objectives.
Monitor server, fabric and storage performance using Monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Zabbix, Veeam One) and provide capacity planning.
Implement and maintain infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
Contribute to automation initiatives using scripting or tooling to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Apply security best practices, including system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and timely patch management across all infrastructure components.
Execute infrastructure changes in accordance with established change management processes and policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve daily infrastructure issues and provide escalation support.
Collaborate with other teams to maintain operational excellence.
Document configurations, operational procedures.


Qualifications & Skills

Familiar with ITSM and Change management systems
Expertise in server and service administration (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware, etc.), and storage management (SAN/NAS/Fabric)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Zabbix, Veeam ONE)
Hands-on experience with backup and recovery solutions, including testing and validation of disaster recovery scenarios
Solid understanding of system hardening, patch management, and infrastructure security best practices
Automation/scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash)
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and capacity planning skills
