Financial Analyst;
Reporting to: Finance Manager;

Summary:

We are looking for a financial analyst to provide accurate and data-based information on the company’s profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity. You will research and analyze financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions, write reports, and monitor financial movements.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to:

  • Analyze historical and current financial data of the stock energy market to understand the company’s financial status.
  • Identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions to a finance manager based on sound analysis.
  • Develop and prepare predictive financial models to support organizational decision-making.
  • Support the team in business development processes.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly cashflows.
  • Provide guidance in making investments generating funds and doing administrative tasks in getting loan facilities.
  • Study industry-specific research and available data to predict trends.
  • Create written reports that enable management teams and stakeholders (Bank, partners, etc.).
  • Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Business Administration.
  • +2 years of proven experience working as a financial analyst.
  • Proven proficiency in Power BI, spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.
  • Excellent reporting, presenting, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Strategic thinking and organizational skills.
  • Proven analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Experience in investment companies is a plus.
  • Holding a CFA or CFA Student is a plus.
