Job Description

We are looking for an FP&A expert who will support the management by providing reliable data and analysis for decision-making and planning. The analysis involves the financial, strategic, and operational performance of Divar. Main duties include maintaining internal controls over financial reporting, presenting financial reports to an executive team, and overseeing the preparation of budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare frequent or ad hoc insightful financial reports for directors, all stakeholders, and directors of different functions.
  • Prepare, Identify, and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide and maintain integrated financial databases and dashboards aligned with accounting and other sources of data to execute in the FP&A team.
  • Identify and understand business and financial challenges; propose and create solutions.
  • Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance and consistency of financial reports coming from different teams.
  • Correct possible discrepancies and inconsistencies in financial reports created by other teams and improve the reliability of the reports as much as possible.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in management reporting, corporate finance, or FP&A teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other related financial fields; a Master's degree; or an MBA graduate. 
  • Ability to summarize and present complex financial data in an organized and concise manner and create automated financial dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides (Being familiar with the Rahkaran system and Power BI is considered a positive point).
  • Being deadline-oriented and able to stick to time constraints.
  • Ability to work independently (task-based) and propose solutions to unexpected problems.
  • Negotiating skills and ability to develop strong working relationships with other units.
  • Proficiency in reporting for managerial purposes.
  • Having a keen eye for detail.
  • Good knowledge of English writing, comprehension, and speaking.
