Job Description

Here in the Asset Management Department, we are looking for a senior financial reporting specialist to assist us in strengthening and improving decision-making processes and advancing the organization's goals by preparing and analyzing financial statements, providing accurate financial data and valuable analyses, and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including the income statement, balance
  • sheet, and cash flow statement.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards and local legal requirements.
  • Manage the financial closing processes, including necessary reconciliations and adjustments.

Analysis and Insight Presentation:

  • Analyze variances and provide explanations for significant changes.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, emphasizing key trends and
  • insights.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes through a thorough analysis of historical data.

Compliance and Auditing:

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, legal reporting, and governance standards.
  • Monitor changes in accounting regulations and update related policies and procedures.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for improving financial reporting processes and tools.
  • Automate and optimize reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to reporting processes and controls.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments such as Operations, Procurement, and Legal to gather
  • relevant financial data.
  • Provide financial expertise to other departments and teams to support decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (CPA, ACCA, or CMA certifications are a plus).
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software, ERP systems (such as SAP, and Oracle), and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent ability to write and present financial reports to stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial reports.
  • Ability to identify and resolve financial contradictions effectively.
