Here in the Asset Management Department, we are looking for a senior financial reporting specialist to assist us in strengthening and improving decision-making processes and advancing the organization's goals by preparing and analyzing financial statements, providing accurate financial data and valuable analyses, and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including the income statement, balance
sheet, and cash flow statement.
Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards and local legal requirements.
Manage the financial closing processes, including necessary reconciliations and adjustments.
Analysis and Insight Presentation:
Analyze variances and provide explanations for significant changes.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, emphasizing key trends and
insights.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes through a thorough analysis of historical data.
Compliance and Auditing:
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, legal reporting, and governance standards.
Monitor changes in accounting regulations and update related policies and procedures.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving financial reporting processes and tools.
Automate and optimize reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
Develop and maintain documentation related to reporting processes and controls.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments such as Operations, Procurement, and Legal to gather
relevant financial data.
Provide financial expertise to other departments and teams to support decision-making.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (CPA, ACCA, or CMA certifications are a plus).
At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or similar roles.
Proficiency in financial reporting software, ERP systems (such as SAP, and Oracle), and advanced Excel skills.
Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent ability to write and present financial reports to stakeholders.
High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial reports.
Ability to identify and resolve financial contradictions effectively.
