Job Description
Here in the Asset Management Department, we are looking for a senior financial reporting specialist to assist us in strengthening and improving decision-making processes and advancing the organization's goals by preparing and analyzing financial statements, providing accurate financial data and valuable analyses, and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including the income statement, balance
- sheet, and cash flow statement.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards and local legal requirements.
- Manage the financial closing processes, including necessary reconciliations and adjustments.
Analysis and Insight Presentation:
- Analyze variances and provide explanations for significant changes.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, emphasizing key trends and
- insights.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes through a thorough analysis of historical data.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, legal reporting, and governance standards.
- Monitor changes in accounting regulations and update related policies and procedures.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving financial reporting processes and tools.
- Automate and optimize reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to reporting processes and controls.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments such as Operations, Procurement, and Legal to gather
- relevant financial data.
- Provide financial expertise to other departments and teams to support decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (CPA, ACCA, or CMA certifications are a plus).
- At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or similar roles.
- Proficiency in financial reporting software, ERP systems (such as SAP, and Oracle), and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent ability to write and present financial reports to stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial reports.
- Ability to identify and resolve financial contradictions effectively.
