To manage the FTTx network operations utilizing the OSS to ensure efficient, reliable, and cost-effective services while meeting customer needs and adhering to company policies.
To represent company interests in external collaborations and negotiations, building relationships with other organizations and advocating for the company's FTTx network operation strategies.
To lead and develop the FTTx network operations team by providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
To establish and maintain relationships with other departments, teams, and other organizations to provide and defend MTNIrancell interests relating to FTTx network operation, and to build and manage relationships with and ensure deliverable service to customers.
To manage to solve FTTx network operation problems and referral issues from other organizations within MTNIrancell policies.
To manage FTTx network operation referral issues prioritization and schedule in line with the objectives of MTNIrancell.
To manage the team scattered in regions to ensure the best possible performance of FTTx network operation in line with company policies, procedures, and initiatives.
To ensure smooth rollout and acquisition targets within the regions through vendor management.
To interface with TCI/MCI/TCP and CRA on the 3rd parties' maintenance process and ensure the proper functioning of the end-to-end service and deliver MTNIrancell commitment to CRA.
To manage and lead the process of building additional capacity for transmission utilizing appropriate technologies and fiber.
To manage and lead the Implementation of the appropriate procedure for all FTTX network deployments.
To verify identified requirements for FTTx network operation based on business forecasts.
To stay abreast with the trending technologies in FTTx network operation, promotethe team to extend their capabilities on planning, and ensure maximum performance from all staff.
To provide comprehensive reports to the line manager detailing national complexities regularly, proposing action plans to address issues identified in reports and meetings, and ensuring complete implementation.
To utilize resources and materials to ensure achieving FTTx network operation national objectives.
To control and monitor payment processes to manage services to ensure they are acceptable.
To advise MTNIrancell regional managers to identify opportunities, risks, and possible environmental problems with regard to external organizations.
To act as the MTNIrancell FTTx Network Operation representative to ensure that the company's interests are fully represented and protected during meetings with other organizations.
To negotiate and reach the best possible agreements related to FTTx Network Operation with other organizations within authorization given by MTNIrancell.
To propose action plans to address issues identified in reports & meetings and follow the track of actions.
To map out the FTTx technology roadmap for technological evolution and migration in FTTx Network Operation in line with global technology trends.
To ensure on-time FTTX service stability and manage to track the service from implantation to delivery to the customer and in the whole service life.
To provide leadership and guidance to FTTH operations management staff and MS vendors according to company strategy and other departments.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Technology Systems (Telecommunication Management/Information Technology) or a related discipline.
An MBA or a Master’s degree is an advantage.
At least 10 years of experience in the telecom industry; with 5 years of management in the Fiber field.
Experience in leading/managing cross-functional project teams.
Project Management experience is an added advantage.
