Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year processes, cash forecasting, trust account statement reconciliations, etc.
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
Prepare State Sales & Use Taxes: quarterly; semi-annually; or annually.
Requirement:
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, combined with 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and reasoning abilities with superior numeric skills.
Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
