Job Description
Kourosh Dried Fruits and Legumes Industry Company is seeking a Head of Logistics to join its professional team.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing contracts with land and sea transportation companies for exporting to various parts of the world, especially Europe, Australia, and CIS countries.
- Following up on import and export processes, including domestic transportation, customs formalities, etc.
- Sourcing new transportation companies and both local and international carriers.
- Conducting all internal and external correspondence with freight lines, shipping lines, etc.
- Supervising loading operations, tracking shipments, and receiving clearance documents.
- Preparing and providing all clearance documents to the customs broker for customs procedures and overseeing the clearance process.
- Monitoring the movement of containers until the empty container returns to the warehouse and receiving demurrage invoices.
- Monitoring and tracking shipments in transit and the latest location of vehicles.
- Obtaining sea and land freight rates from transportation and shipping companies.
