Job Description

The international logistics manager is responsible for delivering a differentiated product to the market that addresses a market need and represents a viable business opportunity, an extremely important role in managing and overseeing global product sourcing strategy. Their main responsibility is to find and choose suppliers that can fulfill the company's requirements. His/her responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. This person will work in collaboration with various internal stakeholders to facilitate a seamless supply chain process and optimize costs. And needs to be recognized as a leader in the business, on the product, the market, relevant technology, and the competition.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to meet the company's procurement objectives.
  • Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to assess their capabilities, reliability, and quality standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to understand their sourcing needs, specifications, and requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering partnerships based on trust, reliability, and mutual benefits.
  • Lead supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with ethical standards, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Regularly review and analyze sourcing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations that may impact sourcing strategies.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Sourcing Manager/product manager or in a similar procurement role.
  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and procurement processes.
  • Strong understanding of contract laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent English skills.
