IT Cloud Administrator

Job Description

We seek an experienced IT cloud administrator to join our team, responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. 

Roles:

• Perform high-level, day-to-day operational administration of complex multi-user cloud-based computing systems including user management, authentication, audits, patches, and upgrades.
• Perform operational administration of complex network services.
• Coordinate, schedule, and perform software installations to cloud-based operating systems, layered software packages, and databases.
• Test, evaluate, and recommend next-generation software applications and virtualized services for suitability of deployment on managed cloud systems.
• Develop, implement, and promulgate standard operating procedures and schedules.
• Train other team members in the day-to-day operational support duties related to cloud infrastructure administration and management.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive technical knowledge of virtual machines and applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT or related fields; additional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with managing operating systems and configuration, comprehensive knowledge of Windows Server Services (ADDS-DNS-DHCP-DFS-WSUS-NPS).
• Experience with internet routing protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS and ISIS
• Operational experience with Vmware, Esxi-Vcenter-Vmware Horizon, and installing and configuring backup services (Veeam Backup and Replication).
• Operational experience with Microsoft Exchange Server, Antivirus Software, and HP Servers.
• Strong writing skills and can clearly articulate and document technical plans, findings, and recommendations.
• Experience with multi-network management.
• Operational experience with Cisco devices and network Layer3 and Layer2 design.
