IT Infrastructure Supervisor

Job Description

The IT infrastructure supervisor is responsible for leading the safeguarding of the organization's network infrastructure from security breaches, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity attacks. This role ensures the continuous monitoring, assessment, and fortification of network security systems while adhering to industry standards and regulatory compliance and working closely with other it teams to manage incident response and mitigate risks to implement security best practices to ensure a resilient and secure It environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network security monitoring and threat detection.
• Incident management and response.
• Network security architecture and hardening.
• Policy, compliance, and risk assessment.
• Security awareness and training.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of networking security protocols, technologies, and tools (IDS/IPS, VPN, and Encryption).
• Proficiency in cybersecurity principles such as risk management threat detection.
• Proficiency in vulnerability assessment and incident response.
• Familiar with security framework and regulation ( e.g Iso 27001, GDPR).
• Experience with network management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, OP manager).
• Proficiency in firewall management, VPNs, load balancers, and WAN optimization.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware) and data center operation.

Leadership and Communication:

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technicalstakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions.

Experience:

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in network and cybersecurity operations.
• Proven experience in handling large-scale enterprise network environments.
