POSITION SUMMARY:

The job involves managing a team of IT infrastructure support specialists to provide high-quality, cost-effective customer-focused infrastructure support to the markets and implement new technologies, under service level agreement. The IT manager is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operations, of the market IT infrastructure according to the agreed SLA and responsibility definitions between GC and the LGO.

The tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage a team of IT support specialists involved in the daily operations and support of the market/region IT infrastructure.
  • Manage daily operations and support of network components in the market such as LAN, PBX, firewall, etc.
  • Perform IT security coordination roles such as assessing, escalating, and investigating information security violations and developing measurements to avoid these violations in the future. Support IT asset management.
  • Manage all IT assets replacement and life cycle management.
  • Budgeting capital expenditures for market/region IT infrastructure.
  • Manage the availability and performance of market IT infrastructure by doing proactive monitoring activities and ensuring any issues are regularly communicated and escalated as appropriate.
  • Liaise effectively with the customer care organizations to continually monitor and improve service levels provided to the business.
  • Work with the GC SDM teams to ensure real-world infrastructure operations requirements are incorporated into the ongoing development of the group infrastructure.
  • Maintain customer focus: ensure that the LGO has a reputation for understanding the business needs and priorities.
  • Provide cost-effective technology with higher uptimes. Implement new technologies for productivity in business functions.
  • Ensure that he/she adheres to the Nestle Charter. He/she must bear in mind that the promotion and protection of breastfeeding is important for the infant's health.
